Songs – Our music style could be classified as “blended.” This means some songs we sing are old classical church songs, others you may hear on contemporary Christian radio today, and the rest fall somewhere in between. We believe combining these wide range of song styles allows everyone to praise God in a manner very comfortable to them and grow to appreciate some of the other styles that make our faith so musically rich and diverse.
Message – In one word: relevant. You’ve probably heard that before but we feel it’s true. The Bible is the source of our teaching and every week we ask the question, “What does this mean for me?” The Bible is not a book of rules. It is a book full of God’s promises and principles. These principles, when applied in our daily lives, help us to be more like Jesus: loving, forgiving, compassionate, generous, kind, etc. The message of the Bible is not just that Christ came to save us from sin and give us eternal life in heaven but Christ wants us to have incredible lives on earth as well.
